We Go as One Community!!
Join us on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 for a bus trip to the brand new National Museum of African American History and Culture. We’ll travel together to DC and be dropped off at the new museum for a visit. After we spend some time at the African American history museum, you will have the rest of the day to explore all that the National Mall has to offer.
The bus will leave the Sargeant Museum (214 Fredericksburg Ave, Louisa, VA) at 8am and return at 7pm. As part of the trip, you will receive:
- information about the African American History and Culture Museum,
- a map of the National Mall,
- cell phone contact numbers for the organizers,
- recommendations on places to visit, eat, and relax
- and full timeline for the day, including what time to return to the bus for our trip back to Louisa.
The cost to attend is $25 per person. All the museums on the National Mall are free for admission.
The trip is open to the public, and children are welcome to attend with a legal guardian present.
